Re: Not-So Super Friday
Is it a legitimate cancellation? I'm interstate but I understand the weather's been pretty rubbish. Perhaps it's a bit rash to can the whole concept based on a bit of bad luck. It seemed like a great idea to me - 8 clubs at one venue on one night, with official ARs - sounds like a quality event that...

Re: Cup Rd / Catch Up Game 1A
I went and checked out Unley 1A vs Pulteney 1A today - a great game to watch as a neutral supporter. Unley scored first before I got there and seemed to dominate the first half hour, then Pulteney got on top for the rest of the half but couldn't put it away. 1-0 at HT. Again Unley were controlling t...

Re: Cup Quarters
Does anyone know if there'll be a barbecue and/or bar at the semis? I'm thinking about making the trek out to Burton depending on the facilities!

Re: Adelaide United Club Rebate 2011?
According to this thread on the FootballNews forums it's not on this year which is a shame, it was definitely easy money. We only ever had two or three people sign up under our name, but I imagine some of the bigger clubs would make a lot of money from it and I doubt it did much to encourage members...

Re: Referees
Thanks to Grads for providing refs for both Westminster vs Grads Red games on Saturday - as chekj004 said they did a great job.

Re: Regency Game
To bring some facts to the discussion, I'm from Westminster and was at the match. Westminster were leading 3-1 about halfway through the second half when Regency had a goal disallowed for offside. A number of Regency players then surrounded the ref to argue and it went downhill from there. There wer...

Re: CSL Cup Final
That being Pulteney vs Regency? Seems like it's not a curtain raiser anymore, as the Pulteney website says this is being played at Pulteney's ground - fair enough since it was their home fixture that was postponed. Can anyone confirm this?baggieboy wrote:The big game is the curtain raiser

Re: Promotion/Relegation
Regency had one game postponed against Pulteney (not sure why), and two games postponed against Westminster when Regency were in the quarter and semi finals. No word yet on when they'll be played so it's getting pretty concerning. It's a bit hard to organise end of season functions when you don't kn...
