Re: CSL clubs affiliating with FFSA teams

I thought I'd shed some light on the Unley/Adelaide City FC arrangement...we are forming an official partnership whereas the 2 clubs will remain as separate legal entities (and therefore in the FFSA's eyes separate clubs). There is an MOU in place that involves the sharing of sponsors/grounds/commit...

Re: Finals 2014

Get over the result and what was a tight game until the last 20 of extra time. It was legs that won it in the end with both sides mi...

Re: Fairplay Award?

Fair play...... Not that interested in an award for who got most / least cards. More interested in getting the severe cases sorted properly..... A club with multiple red cards for yellow card offences = one thing A club or player with red cards for threatening refs, punching other players, trying t...

Fairplay Award?

This might already happen so apologies if it does but has the CSL thought about a fairplay award to the club with the best disciplinary record each season? Thought it might be a good incentive for clubs to clean up their acts and come down harder on players at their clubs. I represent Unley and whil...

Re: Not Uploading Results [subject edited by moderator]

Results are one thing, I have a bigger concern over the lack of teams being uploaded.... Considering it seems the CSL is relying on clubs to manage players who are suspended, it is unacceptable that clubs are not uploading teams to the website. The website is excellent and has the potential to be an...

Re: Regency Eagles...cheaters?

Unley played at Regency at their place on the weekend. Very long pitch as others have mentioned which certainly suited their pace. No standout players for Regency but plenty of very good players with excellent ball control. They are very much a confidence side and on their day can beat anyone. Unley...

Re: Catch Up Games - Any Confirmed?

Ross, Agree that catch up games are not ideal. The Div 5 Grads Red v Unley game has been postponed already as well as the University pitches are off limits this week due to rain. I think at this point of the season we need to be making sure the games that go ahead are the ones that can influence the...

Re: Alternate grounds

Very true Buzz, our on field rivalry is fierce.

But off field you guys are great supporters and always get behind our fundraising efforts, just as we do yours.

Looking forward to an epic contest on Saturday followed by a few pints afterwards.

Alternate grounds

We just wanted to thank Westminster for kindly allowing Unley to play its home games at their ground on the weekend past. With all the rain forecast for the weekend, we inquired early with James (Westminster President) and he was able to negotiate with the school on our behalf. A couple of the Westm...
