Re: 2015 CSL Cup - Round 2
Go on Chelsea.. spill the beans!!!! I can't sleep till I know ;) Whatever happens, shame the tie of the round won't be won /lost on the pitch regardless of what ever occurred. On other news which has been lost in the melee, Well done to Pulteney on knocking Grads Red 1A out!!! I suspect a red card o...

Re: 2015 CSL Cup - Round 2
Good grief.......What a mess.... All that nonsense about Juventus v whoever else it was and they can't even finish a game!!!! I think there is more to come as just playing an unregistered player doesn't warrant a walk off at 80 mins mark in fact, refusing to play if just for an unregistered player m...

Re: Round 3 - Showdown Rd 1A
Almost a weekend for the form book.... Grads Red and Rostrevor got the 3 points to keep their early season form going. Both are going like trains and will be hard to stop. Big result in the Hills with Mt Barker getting their first points with an unexpected thumping of Uni Whites who never looked at ...

Re: Rd 2 - 1A - Anzac Day
Horror weekend for Mt Barker all round... Nearly 30 players missing for a variety of reasons but the Anzac Day and Concert (plus the odd injury / holiday) took 7 of the first team out and another 6 of the Div 3 side!!! Was a good effort to get 6 teams on the pitch in fairness and it will be a big 6 ...

Re: MT B leaving CSL?
Grounds are still under debate and that will become clearer later in the year... The entry requirements for SL1 are much more relaxed than the higher echelons and so grounds are less of an issue than most think for that level. It all changes if you are promoted though and want to play NPL1 or 2. The...

Re: Why is there games on Anzac Day
Nah.. Its stupid
I would say (as we are up to 20 out now!!) that 40% is Anzac Day and the rest the concert....
It will rain most of the day up there so at least some twisted delight for all the poor sods who will cover 2 games this weekend!
Deep heat on special any where??!

Re: MT B leaving CSL?
The short answer is an emphatic NO..... Mount Barker will be fielding teams in the Collegiate League next season and beyond as part of the clubs future plans. The entrance into the Federation competition is an extension of the clubs growth and will be based mainly on incremental growth in the area r...
