Should North City be allowed to get promoted?
Yesterday's game against North Cities B's was pretty stocked standard..... Team had 7 players at kick off, 4 of which only rocked up with 5 minutes Left....Due to the clash of strips they had to wear there shirts inside out, because I don't think they have away strips.... Not a good look. Then at ha...

Any available grounds 27/6
Late notice I know, but if there are any grounds that are available for this Saturday that anyone knows of, could you get in touch with me in 0419804246. Norwoods Div 6 team can't get on our home ground or our alternative ground, and the guys at FFSA work like 3 hours a week and don't return calls....

Re: 2015 Predictions
Dont know too much about the lower leagues, but Grads Red were bloody impressive in our mid week game. Very hot and cold club, could maybe be their year this year. Rumours are Grads Blue have imploded and have lost alot of their big name players, so maybe its straight back down? if its true its kind...

Re: Paying players
There are mountains of money being spent on players in the SAASL, it's the same as the SANFL, reserve players at fed clubs can make far more money whilst training less at amateur clubs, it's been an issue for a while. SAASL isn't even under the FFSA all because they actually have more money than th...

Re: Paying players
As far as im aware there are no rules about that. I assume that there would be some clubs that do it or at least have done it in the past. Some of the bigger clubs would have ample money to pay players. I work with a guy who gets paid a few hundred dollars to play for a div3 amateur club....

Norwood Soccer Club - Positions vacant
For the upcoming 2014/2015 Norwood Soccer Club is opening up both our A's and B's coaching positions for any candidates who are interested in joining our ever growing club. Norwood has undergone a number of changes over the last few years in all facets of our club, which has allowed us to build a yo...

Re: Fairplay Award?
AdelaideGreen, your total lack of understanding on how the CSL is run, shows how idiotic your post was. Dino does a terrific job, and has nothing to do with punishments, that goes to the disciplinary tribunal - as it should, and threatening refs have more to do with the ref, not the chairman. Care t...

Re: Whats happening at North City?
Their B's had 7 players with 4 of them rocking up with 3 minutes to go..... Completely ridiculous game. 17-0
Their A's had 11 with about 5 B players.... 15-1
Good percentage wins I guess.... But did nothing for morale, as you don't really enjoy stupid games like those...

Re: Pitch conditions
LGA the decision to cancel games are not done lightly. Soccer is pretty much a waste of time if the pitch is nothing but mud, which was the case for Norwood last week. It's not like footy where the ball is generally played in the air and players can use their hands.
