Mt Barker are pleased to be back into Div 1. Tough games every week but a great pleasure to be part of it again. We lost many players to the state league team, but rebuilt during the last 2 years.

Always nice to win a league title too, so well done to all involved in MBUSC in 2017.

Every season seems to produce strange goings on... Some teams like to win Div 5 just so some players win every week, take an easy option and say to their mates that they won the league. There was a suggestion at a CSL meeting a few years ago in relation to permitting players from Federation clubs to be loaned to CSL clubs. Players are getting better and coached better. The refs seem to be going backwards... Money for nothing. Hands are tied.. No refs, no game.
