Re: Women playing in the CSL
I have to side with ChrisRogers here. It is an Amatuer competition, regardless of how competitive it is. And the discusssion of a mixed league is in my opinion a little over the top. To allow women to play in teams isn't going to mean that clubs will be stocking there sides with women. It just might...

Re: CSL Select Side
Crab16> Ive only been associated with CSL this year and no doubt others can correct me if im wrong here, but as far as i can tell the clubs and CSL committee are intent on keeping the competition as a strictly collegiate affiliated league. Which is fair enough in my view as it is the only one of its...

Re: Women playing in the CSL
The women do have their own league to play in, however I personally don't think it should be a problem if the CSL rules doesn't exclude them from playing. I certainly wouldn't have anything to say if an opposition team wanted to field women against us. Considering women play on Sundays maybe a few c...

Re: CSL Select Side
It is a shame, but there are some real (lets just say) "knobs" associated with the SAASL clubs. Clearly think that they rule the football world (Amatuers anyway). Here some interesting thoughts from them. http://www.footballnews.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=53690&start=30 Its ...

Re: One team clubs in Div 2A/B
It appears there are definately some issues with the league structures. Unfortunately C teams playing against A teams is tough for the C team clubs, but the A teams (Windsor for example) are a one team club and connot be blamed for their position. Logistically, would it be possible to restructure th...

Re: One team clubs in Div 2A/B
CSL AGM> this question came up. They did not want to compete in Div 2. You can't force a club to do something they don't want to do. From memory they felt that due to the age of a majority of their players they would prefer to be in Div 3 and not up against a lot of younger players (keep in mind im ...
