Re: CSL clubs affiliating with FFSA teams
I think the matter BB7 is referring to involves players playing in the CSL on a Saturday and then in an SAASL team on a Sunday. At a practical level there is nothing we can do to prevent that. You can't be registered for two different FFSA/FFA affiliiated clubs at the same time. But the SAASL has no...

Re: CSL clubs affiliating with FFSA teams
There was a suggestion at a CSL meeting a few years ago in relation to permitting players from Federation clubs to be loaned to CSL clubs. That idea never got off the ground and hopefully it never does. Players cannot be registered for two separate clubs at the same time and, under the current rules...

Re: Unregistered players
We still don't know about how many teams Uni SA will field this week or in any future week, unfortunately. We thought Uni SA would field 5 teams last week but clearly that didn't happen. We only found out about this whole situation once FFSA sent an invoice to the CSL for player registrations, with ...

Re: Unregistered players
I'm part of the CSL Executive Committee and this issue has kept us rather busy of late. For various reasons I cannot say too much, but I understand why many questions are being asked by clubs. Just to clarify a few things: - Uni SA were not being accused of playing players under false names; - Uni S...

Re: Cup Update
Results from Burton tonight have been added. Mt Barker and Pembroke won, but it was not plain sailing. Mt Barker were 3-0 down early but came back to win 4-3. Pembroke and Thebarton were 1-1 at half time but Pembroke went on to win 5-2. The draw for the semi-finals will be done next Monday evening. ...

Re: 1A Mid Season Report - Bottom to Top
I felt that the standard in 1A last year was actually the lowest it had been for a few years. The title was there for the taking as several clubs were heavily affected by player turnover or unavailability, particularly with World Cup related travel high on the agenda for many people. Rostrevor made ...

Re: Historic achievement?
I am sure I am not the only one who will be keen to see Windsor Gardens in division 1A next season, so we can then see if they can repeat their cup heroics on a regular basis in the league. As things stand, Windsor have scored as many goals against Rostrevor this season as the rest of their opponent...

Historic achievement?
Well done to Rostrevor A's coach and players on 9 wins from their first 9 league games. I do not recall any team doing that in the top division of the CSL in the last 15 years or so. To concede only 2 goals along the way is very impressive too (with both goals having been scored at the Adelaide Uni ...

Re: Thursday Night - 4th June - Scores / Updates
Meanwhile, how did Windsor go today? Really annoying when clubs are on the forum but haven 't updated their results on the website. It takes 30 seconds.
