Re: 2015 Predictions
Interista, ROCSC will rightly start as favourites for 1A. But of the 5 teams you have listed as contenders for 1A only ROCSC have won the title in the last 10 years. Of the 5 teams you have discounted, 3 of them have won 8 titles between them in that period. I'm going off last season and I think la...

Re: 2015 Predictions
Love predictions. Div 1 - Winners: Nearly too close to call. I think ROCSC & Unley will be main contenders. Closely followed by Uni W, Grads Red & Mt Barker. Relegation: Uni Blue. Not sure if its two spots or one this year. Div 1B - Mercedes or ROCSC Div 2 - Norwood or Immanuel. Div 2B - Uni...

Re: CSL Super Cup
Very good summary Chelsea, I must have lost count with the penalties.
In the interest of full disclosure to the CSL I did offer to buy the players a round of beers, but the canteen shut up shop!

Re: Paying players
There are mountains of money being spent on players in the SAASL, it's the same as the SANFL, reserve players at fed clubs can make far more money whilst training less at amateur clubs, it's been an issue for a while. SAASL isn't even under the FFSA all because they actually have more money than th...

Re: CSL Super Cup
Cmon you ROCCAS 1 - 1 all after 90 mins. Rostrevor win it on penalties. 7 - 6.
Good competitive game - it was very even. Rostrevor had the better chances, but Mt B are very organised and compact - difficult to break down. All the best for the season!

Re: Paying players
I was wondering when this would be brought up in the forum. I'm with you Crusader, I can't believe that a CSL Club would have enough money to do so. I think it's just a gentleman's agreement not to pay players. I doubt the FFSA would care, if anything they might raise their affiliation fees assuming...

Re: div 2
From a ROCSC perspective not sure if capping would have the desired result. Every year we get more players out of school wanting to play with their mates for their former school- If we turned them to another CSL club there wouldn't be any guarantees that these players would actually go. Good chance ...

Re: div 2
No one voted WG in as a one team club. WG was around at the beginning when there were only 1 and 2 team clubs. To the credit of the CSL they have done a great job in expanding the league. But we now have this current situation. Can't see what was wrong with the setup of the last few years. Everythi...
