to top it off all the Pool 1 teams even get to play at home. 4 very happy teams from pool 1. Hopefully 2 teams from Pool 2 can cause an upset. The football gods are against the underdogs.

There was a 57% chance of having zero 1A vs 1A fixtures.

If you include Windsor Gardens 2A as part of "pool 1" then there was only a 23% chance of all matches being "pool 1 vs pool 2".

So.....statistically its fiddled ??

i watched the Uni Whites (1A) vs Rostrevor (3) game on Saturday & just wanted to mention how well Rostrevor played. They were extremely unlucky to lose this one, having a shot hit the upright in the first half & a couple cleared off the line in the 2nd half.
Took Uni Whites until the dying minutes of the game to get on the board - they were really made to work for the 1 - 0 result.
It does impress me just how good some of these teams in the lower divisions are... Some real quality was on show on Saturday.

Cheers Yak, our C's have really done the club proud knocked out Unley A's and fought well against Uni White As. Our B's provided the upset! Great game against Mercedes, competitive, played in good spirits (although it did get a bit heated towards the end). Mercedes were on top in the first 15, then ROCSC saw out the first half better. Both teams had multiple chances to take the lead. Second half Mercedes dominated but couldn't break the ROCSC backline. Last five of the game ROCSC got a corner, big man from the back headed home. Held out for the last couple of minutes.
Are the semi's drawn or is it a tree now, so Semi 1 is Reds vs ROCSC B and Semi 2 is Windsor / Mt B vs Uni Whites?

So when are the cup Semi-Final games announced? Oh... more importantly - when's the Quarter Final between Windsor Gardens & Mount Barker happening? Windsor have to be fav's to win - having won both matches they've played this season.
