Would be very suprised if any new team had more sway with the league than WG... very suprised! I reckon they have had most things go their way over the years in the CSL.
Regardless, which night is the game being played under these sub standard floodlights on the waterlogged pitch with no ref and only 6 a side due to work commitments??
I only live 10 mins away and it sounds like it will be a corker ;)
BUT if Chelsea is right, sounds like the old boys have got the sway with the CSL!! Either way, good luck to both parties when and if it ever gets played.

Not sure what has exactly gone "Windsor's way" over the past few years but if you are beating around the bush on the whole Div 1 promotion thing - that is actually the CSL's decision.

Yes, the game will be a corker, but if its being played on the Windsor pitch then expect a 0-0 mud bath.

Are you serious.....what has gone Windsor's way over the years.
Windsor started at the inception of the csl with one team as did most colleges. Due to lack of resources have never been able to field a second team and therefore been left behind with the expansion of the league. Also unlike some teams (St Peters, St Ignatius etc) Windsor didn't jump ship and join the amateur league.
The little guys have to fight the hardest to make sure the big boys don't push them around.
Looking forward to a big game and the start of a new rivalry.....bring it on!!!!

No more silly a statement than thinking one of the newer clubs has the ability to sway the league surley?!! ;)
I reckon both teams are using whatever weight they have (which is probably less than they both think!!) to get what they want in terms of a game date. I belive whoever was after the Saturday has the bragging rights according to the email system.... So maybe something has finally gone Windsors way after all these years after all? ;)

game is not being played on the 27th or the 29 it will be wed 31st or 7 aug as soon as the two clubs agree which one. The original game was not called off due to a waterlogged pitch it was because no ref turned up..

When are Mount Barker A's playing their catch up league game versus Pulteney? Surely that game or the
Cup game should be played this Saturday?

pulteney have been knocking back all our offers to play these games in midweek or the 27th for some reason. we have it locked in for the 10th . For some reason they are not interested in playing midweek while 3 of our teams have been twice down to sawsa park to have the games called off.
