When and where is the replay??

The rematch between Rostrevor (1A) v Windsor Gardens is a 7:30pm k-o this Thursday at Burton.

The postponed league fixture between Grade Blue 1A v Unley 1A is also being played that night, at the Adelaide Uni grounds. The same two teams then meet two days later in the cup!

So ironically....
Rostrevor will have a player suspended after their game v Grads Red and WGOS will have a full compliment, assuming no injuries or age related issues, when the original game SHOULD have seen them play out the last 30 mins with 10 players.....
That's what happens when you mess with the space time continuum!!!!!

Will be a corker of a game and hope the referee is top drawer for the the replay of the European Cup qualifier between Accrington Stanley and The Dads Army XI (The Real madrid / AC Milan stuff seemed to fall so short of the mark, this may be more appropriate and then the only way is up??!!)

Both teams would have to check the rules concerning the replay! I would assume since it is a replay that the condition of the original game would count? Except the names on the team sheet obviously? I would assume that the original team sheets would be valid hence players excluded from that game are still excluded? Otherwise it makes a bit of a mockery of the whole situation! (If it wasn't already bad enough!)

Intersting Q final games. Only 4 Div 1 teams. Surely 2 will play each other in the next round. Might have a non div 1 side this year in the final like Mt.Barker 2 years ago.... Maybe no Div 1 sides in the final....

It's definitely going to be an interesting draw. The Quarter Finals are scheduled to be played on the 25 July - all players will have a week to recover as well due to the BYE for the International Champions Cup the week prior.

Before the draw was made yesterday I would of had the 8 teams in the following 2 groups.

Group A - Strongest in no order
Mt Barker 1A
Unley 1A
Pembroke 1A
Windsor

Group B - weakest in no order
Pembroke 1B
UniSA 2A
Thebarton 2A
Pulteney 1A

Everyone from group A would of wanted someone from group B.

Well, that is exactly what the draw gave and we could see the 4 teams from group A in the semis.

Pembroke 1B v Windsor
Pembroke 1A v Thebarton 2A
Pulteney 1A v Unley 1A
UniSA 2A v Mt Barker 1A

Agree with your analysis Chelsea.

I expect all the 'Group A' teams to win comfortably and progress to the Semi-Final. But then again, anything can happen on the day.
