Depends who is in it!!!
Windsor G and Immanuel will be looking for a quick stepping stone out I'm guessing and should provide the benchmark but there will be a couple of others in and around the mark like Westminster, Mount Barker and maybe Norwood? Prince Alfred (if they play) will again struggle to get top half along with
CBC. Grads Blue / North City will fight it out for the wooden spoon.

Its all to play for this year with UniSa,Grads Red and Regency leaving a big hole at the top of the league ...

Isn't that (kinda) what happened last year? :P

Why the big movement for Grads Red this year? Know something I don't?
That's it!

My tip is that at the end of season 2012 - the top 4 of the Ladder will look as follows:

1. Rostrevor
2. Sacred Heart
3. Mercedes
4. Uni White

This is only based on what I have seen during pre season, all I can say is that it will be a tough season - a lot of teams look really good. Will make for some great soccer, which I am looking forward to!!

Essentially we're all picking the top 4 from last year to be top 4 again? :)
We should be on the footy show!
I think the interesting one will be Grads Red. I watched them in pre-season & they have some excellent players. I think they'll do some damage... But i also predict them to concede more red cards than anyone else... A lot of hot headded players in that squad.

The good thing about the CSL div 1 league this year is that its just too hard to pick the winners.

There is basically no more easy games. A few years back it was always down to 4 teams. Now you can say its down to 6 teams.

Its a credit to the the league and the teams that are stepping up.

Very difficult to pick but I think experience goes along way.

So therefore it will come down to 3 teams.

Mercedes / Rostrevor / Sacred Heart. One of these will win it.

However these teams will drop points along the way to all the others.

Playing Grads Red / Regency Eagles / Unisa wont be easy in round 1 as many teams dont know what to expect. These teams will pick up points in their 1st round but then might struggle later on once others know how they play.

The best thing for the league moving forward is that the new teams try to stay up. I cant see all 3 staying up but at least 2 need to stay up to show that Div 1A is getting stronger.

Good luck to all the clubs. No easy games in Div 1A this year.

Can't see Rostrevor in the top 3 to be honest, too unpredictable in the last few years. Grads Red to be the dark horse but may struggle with consistency. If Sacred Heart keep their recruits from last year they will be top 2 with Mercedes. Will be very close from 3rd through to 8th this year I imagine!
