Teams moving Divisions???
Have I heard right?? Windsor Gardens into Div 2 with only an A team and Prive Alfred dropping into Div 3 with only 1 team this year"???
Also, Regency and Simba having 2 teams each at last??
Just heard it...any truth and what do others think??

Re: Teams moving Divisions???
Apparently its only a suggestion for next year at this stage.
WIndsor need more of a challenge and DIv 3 teams need a break from getting a schallacking each weekend.
Personally, I would like to see Div 1 and 2 being populated with 2 team clubs and Div 3 and 4 being for 1 team clubs, 3rd and 4th teams etc with promotion and relegation between 3 and 4 to kep the balance reasonable.
I hate the idea of a bye for any team .....The SAASL last year had multiple divs with byes and it p**sed many off as we want to play football EVERY weeknd!!
Anyway, the CSL commitee meeting allow all clubs to have their say so if you don't like the proposal, get your reps to have their say.
WIndsor have been bashed a few times over the last few years and the move although not perfect , is better than previous.

Dont knock it until you've heard the pros and cons. You never know, they may end up in div 1 next year. Makes life harder for WG since you can stock up injured A team players with B teamers that wont play that week (etc).
Re: Teams moving Divisions???
So Windsor and Scotch into Div 2A with only one team, to be paired in 2B with Unley and Pembroke's 5th(?) teams. Could be tough for those 5th teams, but I think it's fair enough.
Regency up into Div 1 to replace Scotch, while Simba drop out all together. Anyone know what happened to Simba?
Meanwhile the Blacks have moved their teams over to the Amateur League, which I think is a good move after previous years of forfeiting half the season...
So Immanuel (3), Grads Red (3), Westminster (4) and Mt Barker (4) all add an extra team to make up the numbers. Bit tough for Grads Red to have their 3rd side in Div 3, but it was the only option I reckon...
Thoughts?
The big winners out of all this are Windsor and Scotch who don't have to play in Div 3, and even Regency who get a free promotion.

Why would Regency come up? Would Immanuel not have first option of staying up?

So who is in Div 2a and 2b then??
I saw an inital lisat but it seems to have changed...
Shame about Simba..... they were mental and added a bit of interest to a game day!!
Have Scotch got a 2A side or as I orignally was told, are they WIndsors B team?
So many questions........
