We (scotch) have only one team this season, being 2A. Windsor also have a team in 2A. We've been paired up with a team from Pembroke and Unley who will effectively play as a 2B team for each of us but won't be affiliated in any way.

Regency finished third in 2A last year that's why they have been promoted.

The original suggestion was for Immanuel to stay up but they put forward a really strong case that they need to drop down and rebuild for a few seasons and earn the right to come back up rather than suffering in the top divisions as they have done for the past few seasons. No one at the meeting could really argue against this.

Div 2A/2B will look much different this season - another big change is that Unley and Pembroke both have two teams in div 2 rather than playing against themselves in div 4.

Ok thats fair enough. Immanuel getting the option to stay up first is logical, and if the denied then yeah the 3rd place team in Div 2a should come up.

I think I got part of that wrong - Unley and Pembroke only have teams in 2B, not 2A
