Round 15

Post by Balotelli »

The top 3 teams in division 1A have been naughty boys and each have one or more influential players suspended this week. Could make for an interesting round of results.

Pembroke v Sacred Heart
Pembroke have shown some form recently and are the only team to defeat Sacred Heart this season. Sacred Heart have everything to play for and are top for a reason, but they have 3 players suspended. Will they sign up more ex-pros to replace them? Could be game of the round.

Pembroke to win 2-1

Regency v Mercedes
Not a lot to play for here. Mercedes should be too experienced and too strong, but Regency at home can be a tough test.

Mercedes to win 4-2

Rostrevor v Unley
Unley have both their strikers suspended and will be hurting after a shock semi-final loss in the cup. Rostrevor with little to play for but are always tough at home. Will be a real test of Unley's depth but I think they might scrape through.

Unley to win 2-1

Uni SA v Grads Red
Grads Red have their big lad in the middle suspended again, but they should still be too strong with a few others returning from suspension. They will be hoping to have a lead at the top going into their last 2 games - Sacred Heart and Mercedes.

Grads Red to win 3-0

Uni White v Pulteney
Pulteney fighting for their lives and took a point from Grads Red last time. Uni White are like Liverpool this year, great in the cup but not consistent enough in the league. Pulteney might have a chance in the muddy conditions. They'll need to be wary of the Uni White Frenchmen though, if they're playing.

2-2 draw
