Squeezy, the CSL reviewed both sides of the story and could have quite easily stuck to the 'rules'. Thier ruling was fair, simply stating that clubs at this level and the exec committee are run by volunteers and do make mistakes from time to time. The ruling then continued to state that these rules are there to stop teams from gaining a competitive advantage e.g playing unregistered players. In no way were Windsor gaining an advantage in forgetting to put a registered player on the team sheet.

The CSL initially ruled to play on from 90 mins after the first appeal but Rostrevor then re-appealed the decision and the league decided to play the game in full. With all players available to both teams.

If the ref from the first game simply played on as normal and let the back office sort it out then we wouldn't be having this discussion.

ROCS put up a good fight, but this game should have been finished a month ago.

For some reason WG always get their way. Lot of power for just a bunch of "old mates"

Snowball. Windsor didn't get Thier own way. It was Rostrevor who appealed the initial
Decision and won a full replay with both squads fully Available.

Meanwhile, how did Windsor go today? Really annoying when clubs are on the forum but haven 't updated their results on the website. It takes 30 seconds.

Windsor won 4-1. Were down 1-0 for a majority of the first half.

2-1 half time.

Snowball you have no idea. Big call saying windsor corrupt the league by influencing decisions. Actually also insulting to the csl executive committee. Are you saying Windsor have more say and power than Rostrevor? You know a lot for someone that has no idea on how everything works.

Yeah sorry about the result going up late - I was stuck on the couch - bit sore after the game.

On a positive note: a big thanks to Raf for refereeing the match after the allocated ref didn't show up.
That's it!
