A very sad day in sport. Spent many years at the Power. Couldnt believe what I was hearing this morning.
Every sport across the country should have a minute silence this weekend.
RIP Phil Walsh

Agreed, shocking news.
Will the CSL put out an official request for a minutes silence?

I guess its too early for the CSL to make a statement on this and the CSL will most likely wait how things unfold and what direction if any the FFSA take.LGA wrote:Just do it I reckon nobody
I think it will be up to Club leaders / coaches / players / referees to make the calls this weekend.
If it was up to me I would have a minute silence and wear black arm bands. Put I am a Power supporter and I rated Phil Walsh highly. I hate the Crows but was more then happy for him to have a crack at the top job.
I am referee tomorrow and will ask all the teams before the game whether they would like to have a minute silence.
It will be there call. I cant force them.
