2015 Champions - All Divisions

Post by chelsea »

Well done to the following teams for securing the championships in their respective divisions.

Only 2 championships to be decided in the last round.

1A - Rostrevor

1B - ??

2A - Immanuel

2B - Immanuel

3 - Windsor Gardens

4 - ??

5 - Rostrevor

6 - Westminster

Very solid effort by Immanuel in Div 2. Winning both 2A / 2B. Hopefully they can recruit a few players in the off season and be solid in 1A / 1B.

Will be an interesting end to the 1B and 4 div championship. 2 teams in each div playing for the title but the leaders do have it in their control as all they need to do is win.

Pulteney got the point that they needed to avoid relegation otherwise their would of been an interesting relegation battle this weekend.

1 more round and everyone can look forward to the break.

Thanks Dash. My stats read 3 starts and 2 off the bench this year. So it wasnt the 1st game back.

Rostrevor had up to 40 players missing from their list. Managed to get a game because of this reason.

1 more round to get through for Rostrevor without forfeiting a game this year. Was always going to be tight with 6 teams but they are nearly there.

Hopefully not too many fly off to Melbourne to watch the Crows this Friday night.

I'm hearing ya!
6 teams is a hard task to maintain as we have found ourselves..... Used 61 players in our Div 6 team this year just to get a team out each week and that often comes at the detriment of the higher grade teams who have 'lent' players to the Div 6 cause.
Hard work having to move people around and maybe next season where we revert to a lesser number of teams will make life easier?
As for your 3 games this season, you have pulled out too soon ;) Still got more than enough for the lower Divs and then some!

Not sure how close things are in 1B, but in Div 4 Sacred heart have 1 hand on the title, only needing a draw against battlers Mount Barker, whilst the Uni Whites play Uni SA, who would probably have been fighting for the title themselves.
Still.. It's always exciting to still be in the hunt on the last weekend of the year.

Immanuel & Rostrevor both had good seasons! 2 titles each. Well done to both clubs.
Good to see Immanuel win 2A and 2B, augers well for a competitive season next year.

And Pembroke or Windsor will also have two titles in 2015.

9 titles shared between 6 clubs.
