It's been a bit quiet so far on the forum this season besides some bizarre posts by spammers.
The Comets looked pretty good against us last week. It will be very interesting to see how they go tomorrow against Mercedes and in division 1A in general. I won't be surprised if they do well.
Thebarton looked good going forwards against us last week and could be a chance for promotion this year. And their B team took Windsor to extra-time but then ended up losing 7-2, poor fellas.
It's a bit quiet
Re: It's a bit quiet
Pulteney and Woodside have both made solid starts after horror seasons last year, so hats off to them.
Windsor v Uni SA postponed. Will be interested to hear what the story was there.
Looks like all the defenders had the week off in division 1A judging by the high scores!

Thanks crusader_. Woodside picked up a handful of new players via a Facebook promotion and our numbers are a lot stronger than they have been before. Last year we had many players doubling up on games towards the end of the season. It was horrible. Throw in a new coach, a 2-month pre-season with 4-friendlies and we're feeling much better. Let's hope we remain competitive.

Referee didn't rock up
Re: It's a bit quiet
Thanks Juventus. Plenty of games don't have an official referee appointed but they still go ahead with a club referee?
I guess Uni SA will be able to use some of their State League 2 players if you play a mid week catch up game, which will even things up a bit.

Windsor were happy to play but Uni SA refused to play without a proper ref.

Fair enough based on Windsor's club supplied 12th player we were subjected to during the cup. Beyond anything I've seen in 35 years of football.divineponytail wrote:Windsor were happy to play but Uni SA refused to play without a proper ref.
