Hi All,

I hope everyone is finding the new website useful and easy to navigate.  The second update to the CSL site is due this week and the introduction of a new page on the site called ‘Club Admin’.

Firstly to explain this the CSL website is here to give all players, spectators and club organisers as much information as possible. To do this in a less cluttered way on the site we will be using the front page of the site for general news about competitions and the latest information that has been recently updated with posts directing you where to go . This is where you are now – the ‘Home’ Page. 

The scores will continue to be updated as per normal for each division as soon as we get the results on a Saturday night and of course ladders and table grids will also be updated on the relevant ‘Fixtures/Results’; ‘Tables’, ‘Results Grids’ and ‘CSL Cup’ Pages this will not change.

New to the site this week though will be a new page called Club Admin. This we be the place to see yellow and red card tallies, suspensions, disciplinary committee information, the leading goalscorer tallies and any late news on referees availability.

Obviously we intend on updating this as often as practicably possible however to give everyone a general idea of what should be updated and when – the Match Sheets should be collated by Wednesday nights and on the website by late Wednesday or Thursday.
Late information does tend to come in regarding referees and game postponements/forfeits  – even up until Friday night there could be new information on this page.

There will still be an email to all club delegates regarding such information.

So please be patient as all who contribute to the site do so as volunteers and we will soon have the website running smoothly and updated in the weeks to come.

Finally we are also looking to update all of the club  pages this week and we will be requesting clubs to email luke@collegiatesoccerleague.com.au with a detailed list of their updated club contacts for each team, namely a name/phone number/ team, and any other information that they would like to put on the site regarding their club.  We would like to place a sponsor or two on the clubs pages as well as some pics – maybe some action shots and a picture of your ground or facilities.  We will be sending an email to all delegates requesting this information as well.  This is due to the fact that some clubs have given us incorrect information, have given us no information or some information may have changed recently. Please email the site throughout the season for queries to scores, information changes to your club page and of course feedback and ideas. If you think you would be interested in helping to maintain the site please contact us also as every little bit will help.
