Return to Training for CSL Clubs
May 21st
CSL STATEMENT REGARDING RETURN TO TRAINING:
As you have probably all seen, the state government has given outdoor community sport (for us Level B training) the green light to return next week. In alignment with Football SA, the Collegiate Soccer League will also allow clubs who are comfortable to do so, to begin outdoor training from Monday 11th May 2020, as long as all Collegiate Soccer League, Football SA & State Government protocols regarding COVID19 are fulfilled.
REQUIREMENTS
The FSA have a resource centre which offers great detail around what is needed, we suggest ALL MEMBERS OF YOUR CLUBS read all documents, you can find the full FSA reference here:
https://www.footballsa.com.au/return-to-training-hub
IN ADDITION TO THIS, THE CSL REQUIRES:
• All CSL clubs must check with your governing college or institution/club before commencing any training.
• All CSL clubs stage the return of players and start session 1 on a invite only (individual players) basis to ensure groups of 10 can be maintained.
• All CSL clubs will assign a minimum of 1 coach/organiser for every 9 players to ensure social distancing.
• All CSL clubs will address all players at the start of each session to ensure they are all aware of their individual obligations when training.
If any club feels they can’t meet any of these requirements please email or call me to discuss.
